At the denouement of this first year of episodes some personal notes regarding the Master of Business Leadership Podcast from Phil Johnson:
"Well it’s been an amazing year since we began the Master of Business Leadership podcast on January 15, 2018. We are very grateful our broadcasts have reached over 32,000 listeners in 115 countries.
The podcast was intended to address and bring attention to a fundamental gap in our education and development. Our primary focus has been on the need for authentic, emotionally intelligent leadership. With over 18 years as an executive coaching experience I can safely state the lack of authentic, emotionally intelligent leadership is the root cause for most of the drama, chaos and conflict we see in individuals and organizations.
As part of our podcast during this past year we interviewed 22 business executives. They have each shared their MBL journeys, insights and challenges with our listeners. Even though the emotional labor required has been significant so have the rewards.
Our discussions have included;
Ø The Tsunami Of Change Before Us (Episode 2)
Ø The Need For More Sheepdogs (Episode 3)
Ø How To Our Care The Competition (Episode 5)
Ø The Primary Responsibility of Every Executive (Episode 7)
Ø Organizational Development (Episode 8)
Ø HR Executives and Human Potential (Episode 10)
Ø Management vs. Leadership (Episode 12)
Ø Peak Performance (Episode 13)
Ø Employee Engagement (Episode 16)
Ø The Future of Leadership (Episode 19)
Ø Career Advancement (Episode 20)
Ø The Twelve Change Essentials (Episode 22)
Ø Paradigm Shifts (Episode 24)
In our first season we focused on the need for and the challenges associated with the development of authentic, emotionally intelligent leadership. In the coming year our focus will be on the magic this process creates.
As we begin our 2nd season we want to thank our listeners for their continued interest and support."
