MBL Minute: Our Greatest Gift And Strong Leadership Personalities

One of our greatest gifts and powers is the ability to be objective
when facing life’s many challenges. This allows us the
opportunity to move through our fear rather than being controlled
by it on the way to better results. Emotional
intelligence enables us to feel our emotions while at the same time
watching them unfold objectively without resistance, judgment or
attachment to outcome. Most of us are unprepared to handle
the terrifying emotions that come from moving outside of our
comfort zone. The process of developing our emotional intelligence
can help to prepare our self for the accelerating changes we
face.
I was recently asked if the world is experiencing a shortage of good leaders with strong personalities. The following was my response. There has always been a severe shortage of authentic emotionally intelligent leaders. Each of these leaders have unique personalities that reflect their authenticity. As a result, you could never confuse one authentic leader with another.
